Prices of puppies

Our Schnauzer Puppies sell for R10 000 – R15 000 depending on colour. WHY ARE OUR PUPS SO EXPENSIVE? Because you pay for what you get! First of all, the way our dogs are handled and care for, plays a huge role in the kind of puppies we breed. The way moms-to-be are cared for, already plays a huge role on the temperaments of the unborn puppies. The way puppies are stimulated, loved and handled from birth, also has a vital impact on their personalities, so I believe that our puppies are very special as a result of the way all our dogs are loved.

To raise my babies in the most hygienically circumstances as possible, is just one of my main concerns and this takes huge amount of time and energy. My other huge concern and motive is to breed healthy puppies, so the parents are healthy and DNA tested for genetical health issues to make sure we do not breed puppies with health problems.

We are definitely not a puppy mill, nor backyard breeders. Our dogs are our main focus and we do everything in our power to keep them healthy, happy and loved. Only the best is good enough for our dogs. Therefor they are fed Hills and the moms are extra spoiled with a raw diet or cooked chicken … whatever they prefer. It is very expensive keeping our dogs in such a great condition so that they can have healthy babies. This way we contribute in hopefully improving the Schnauzer breed to ensure that this special breed of dogs will still be seen in the future

Price includes vaccination on 6 weeks, deworming, micro-chip, registrations WITH BREEDING RESTRICTIONS. Puppy also leaves us with a surprise bag packed with goodies.

Delivery is not included in the puppies’s price. We are situated in Swellendam, so delivery can be arranged to CT for a minimum amount. Puppies can also fly to their destination with Pet Lounge (Bid Air Cargo) for R1 500 extra.

Raising our puppies

…With loads and loads of love! Our puppies stay with mom next to our bed for the first few days until we feel comfortable to leave mom alone with her puppies. Then they move to the nursery which is a nice, quiet room inside our house and where no other nosy dogs can irritate mom. There she can attent peacefully to her newborn babies. Moms are fed a special diet consisting of a variety of foods like fresh raw meat, eggs, fruit, vegetables and freshly cooked chicken, Hill’s or Royal Canine Puppy Food. When puppies start to wiggle around and show interest in food, they are moved to the 2nd puppy-room which is more central located in our home. Here the puppies get used to new sounds as well as being pampered by everyone who walks by the puppy-room… who can resist a puppy? They get used to human sounds and hands caressing them and in no time they start wagging those little tails when they hear or see us. At the age of 6 weeks we take them outside where they are introduced to grass. From thereon they get potty-trained while enjoying the rough-play with siblings.
