After meeting a Frenchie, another piece of my heart melted… what a fascinating breed! This little cuties with bat-ears and piggy-tails have the amazing ability to take a huge Frenchie-loop, landing with all 4 paws and a snorting sound into your heart. But beware…The Frenchie-mission is to take over your heart, your mind, your life, your EVERYTHING! They want to rule you and your life and they’ll be spinning you around their fatty paws without you even noticing. The magic is in their eyes… if you look too deep into a Frenchie’s eyes, he will mezmerise you, and before you know it, your Frenchie will own you… your whole life with revolve around this cute, snoring, snorting, farting and grunting bundle of love!

Lulu

Lulu’s registered name is Willow, which means graceful and slender. Ok, ok, ok…. Lulu doesn’t really represents the word “graceful” or “slender”, but she definitely is as strong as a willowtree. The black dot on her head with her bubbly personality made me think of the name Lulu, and so Willow became Lulu. The name “Lulu” means “pearl” in Arabic, so Lulu was our first pearl-girl-Frenchie. Very interesting is that my first Schnauzer breeding girl’s name was Maya and Maya also symbolizes a pearl😊

Lulu is a black brindle pied and the friendliest dog I have ever had. She is a very social girl and loves anyone, greeting each person with “happy” ears (ears pulled back); wrinkly, smiley eyes and a huge smile on her face giving her an even more wrinkled look…a true Duchenne smile… She may not have a wagging tail, showing her love and friendliness, but she certainly shows it through facial expressions. This way Lulu teached met Frenchie-language, as she communicates with me through her eyes. I am so blessed to have this friendly, bubbly, loving girl as part of my life. Gucci

I have always wanted to name one of my stud’s “Arthur” as the name sounds so strong and muscular. Before I really knew the Frenchie-breed, I thought that “Arthur” would suite a French Bulldog stud perfectly as they look so muscular on pictures… so we decided to register our first Frenchie stud as “Arthur”… and then Arthur became one of us. From the moment our eyes met, a very special bond formed between me and this lovely fawn boy. When I looked into this boy’s eyes, it seemed that I could see right through his soul deep into his heart and all I could see was a beautiful, soft, friendly and loving heart; not at all what I expected from a Frenchie. He surely stole a piece of my heart and signed his name on it, but not as “Arthur”, but mommie’s boy! So we do not call him Arthur, but Gucci, Japie and Hansie (I know, I know, it sounds so “plat Afrikaans” but he loves his names. For more photos of Gucci, please click here: Gucci

La-Lisa

Lisa is our cute, always hopping, Blue-Fawn girl. She never says ‘no thank you’ for a play with one of the other dogs, but as soon as I say to her: “ Kom ons gaan slaap” she runs to the bed to be picked up and immediately falls asleep on my chest. My little soft-spot girl… For more photos of Lisa, click here: Lisa

Beau

Beau is our Blue Cream boy and he surely is maturing into his name which means “Handsome” in French. Beau is a very friendly, spirited boy with a strong will and as playful as can be. He loves playing in water and only drinks water if he can be covered by it. So if you’re searching for Beau, look in the babypool or container they drink water from… “My boy Beau, you have the most beautiful smile that will melt any heart and make anyone fall in love with you.” For more photos of Beau, click here: Beau

Nonna (not with us anymore) God gave her wings to fly to heaven.

Nonna or Nonnie past away at a very young age due to lung lobe twisting. My heart broke in 2 and I cannot get myself to remove her from my Frenchie Page yet. Nonnie was our precious fawn pied girl with a wild heart. She had such a soft look in her eyes, but don’t let that fool you as she thought she was a bull fighter… hanging onto a Schnauzer’s bushy beard or Gucci’s neck or even onto the poor old-man Milo’s tail… She certainly didn’t make life easier for our other dogs, but in the end of the day when it started to get cooler and Nonnie started to shiver, she still had the privilege to crawl under a Schnauzer’s warm beard or sleeping in Gucci’s neck, or even snuggle into the warm, fluffy tail of old-man Milo. Who would not forgive Nonnie for being her target bull of the day as she looked at them with those puppy-eyes asking… “Can you please keep me warm?” And that was our Nonnie… Rest in peace my precious girl

Caroline

My sweet Caroline (aka Karoliena)… she is a blue & tan girl (although she looks a little bit brownish) with fatty cheeks and soft eyes… she has the sweetest temperament, always being good as gold, never ever being disobedient. What a loyal girl. She is one of our first imported French Bulldogs and I am so grateful we found this precious gem of a girl. For more photos of Caroline, please click here: Caroline

Skylar

Skylar is our imported Blue Pied girl. She is just the funniest, most comical dog on our farm with a lucky-packet filled with more different facial expressions you can think about… Because I’m her mom, I think she is the most clever Frenchie in the whole wide world, but if you could’ve asked her if she agrees, she would only stick out her tongue… Skylar is simply just hilarious… but she also love being cuddled and being the centre of attention. My dearest Skylar, I am convinced that you were stolen from a circus and then sold to us, but I am so happy and feeling blessed to have you with us.

Pia (Peppa)

Pia aka Peppa, Pepsie or Pebbles is our imported Lilac & Tan Merle girl. She is a wiggly, always happy, friendly, loving and excited girl. How we love you, my Peppa Piggy girl…

Royalty

Oh my word… and then there is Royalty (aka Roxie, Pixie or Pixels) … how can we not love you to the moon and back! There’s not enough words to describe this girl. She is our imported Blue Merle girl, so friendly, funny, loving and spoiled little girl. I am very excited about the future of this precious girl.
