With loads and loads of love! For the first few days to a week or two, mom stays with her babies next to our bed so we can attent to mom & pups during night time hours. As soon as we feel comfortable leaving mom alone with her puppies, they are moved to the nursery which is a nice, quiet room inside our house. Moms are fed a special diet consisting of Hill’s or Royal Canin Puppy Food, freshly cooked chicken, eggs and sometimes RAW. As soon as puppies start to wiggle around and show interest in food, they are moved to the second puppy-room which is more central in our home in order for the puppies to get used to new sounds as well as being pampered by everyone who walks by… because who can resist a puppy? Soon they start wiggling those little tails when they are aware of us. At 6 weeks, we introduce them to grass during day time hours where they can start sniffing and exploring while playing their hearts out. The puppies can leave us after they are properly weaned from their mom which is after 8 weeks of age.
